About Us
The messy girl who makes pretty things
(and somehow turned it into a business)
How it started: a corporate girlie's escape plan
- Me, sitting in my office. MBA done. Operations job. Stable life.
But also... restless.
I wanted to build something. Something mine. Something that felt personal.
The problem? I had absolutely no idea what.
The lightbulb (aka the Pinterest rabbit hole)
Then I fell into the world of handmade concrete decor.
Trinket trays. Marble patterns. Hand-painted designs.
And I thought: "I need to try this."
So in January 2025, from my home, I did.
No training. No blueprint. Just me, some concrete powder, and a whole lot of "let's see what happens."
The self-taught chaos
I spent months:
- hunting for materials
- watching tutorials
- failing (a lot)
- experimenting (even more)
Self-taught means you take the long route. You mess up. You learn why things break.
But here's the thing: those failures taught me everything.
Now when something goes wrong, I know exactly why. And honestly? The journey's been exhilarating.
The first design that changed everything
I started with plain white trays. Then marble patterns.
But when I painted my first evil eye design, you guys went crazy for it.
That's when I realized: people don't want plain trays. They want personality. They want something that feels like them.
So I kept going. More designs. More colors. More vibes.
Sometimes inspired by Pinterest (yes, I admit it ). Sometimes straight from my brain at 2am.
What "aerisyn" even means
Fun fact: I spent way too long picking this name.
Aeri = airy, light, creative, free-flowing
Syn = synthesis, harmony, things coming together
Together? Aerisyn = lightness, creativity, calm aesthetic energy, and handmade pieces that feel gentle but intentional.
(Basically: organized chaos in the prettiest way possible.)
Why handmade? (aka why I make my life harder)
Look, I know mass production is faster. Cheaper. More "efficient."
But handmade is personal.
Every tray I make starts from scratch. I pour the concrete. Paint the design. Seal it with care.
It's time-consuming? Yes.
Worth it? Absolutely.
Because when you buy handmade, you're not just getting a product. You're getting a story. A human touch. A little piece of someone's heart.
The real reason I do this
Here's the truth: I'm a messy person.
Keeping my stuff organized? Feels like a chore. A daily battle.
That's exactly why I make what I make.
I wanted cute, functional things that help you stay organized without killing your vibe.
Things that make you smile when you see them.
Things that lighten your mood in small ways.
Things that feel like a visual representation of you.
What keeps me going (when it gets hard)
Two things:
1. My journey.
When I'm having a tough day, I remind myself why I started. I look back at how far I've come. And it pushes me forward.
2. My family (especially my husband).
He supports me like crazy. I couldn't do this without him.
But you know what the best part is?
When someone messages me from across the world and says:
"Your work made me happy today."
"I watch your videos on repeat when I'm stressed."
"This tray is exactly me."
That? That's everything.
What Aerisyn stands for?
Sustainability — thoughtful materials, minimal waste
Uniqueness — no two pieces are exactly alike
Quality — premium concrete, careful craftsmanship, made to last
And most importantly: personality.
Your home tells your story. My pieces match your vibe.
Where we're going?
Aerisyn is still young. Still evolving. Still experimenting.
I'm constantly creating new designs, trying new ideas, learning as I go.
My dream? To keep building this community. To keep making pieces that bring joy. To keep proving that small things can have big meaning.
One handmade tray at a time.
